US-based restaurant company Applebee’s Neighbourhood Grill + Bar has re-launched limited-time menu item All You Can Eat Riblets and Chicken Tenders with the addition of Double Crunch Shrimp.

Priced at $14.99, the menu item is currently available across the US served with a side of coleslaw and fries.

The company is also offering a sweet honey BBQ sauce with the pork riblets and a honey dijon sauce with the chicken. The Double Crunch Shrimp is drizzled with a choice of cocktail or tartar sauce.

“We’ve made the guest-favourite even better with the addition of our incredible and delectable Double Crunch Shrimp.”

Applebee’s chief marketing officer Joel Yashinsky said: “Our All You Can Eat Riblets and Chicken Tenders limited-time offer was a smashing success in 2018, and we’re excited to bring it back to kick off 2019, but we’ve made the guest-favourite even better with the addition of our incredible and delectable Double Crunch Shrimp.”

Applebee’s currently operates around 1,875 franchise restaurants across 50 US states, as well as in Puerto Rico, Guam and 13 other countries.

In December last year, the company completed an acquisition of 69 own-brand restaurants in North and South Carolina from franchisee Apple Gold Group. Applebee’s plans to initially own and operate these restaurants, but will assess and monitor refranchise opportunities in future.
