FAT Brands, which runs restaurant concepts, including Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express, is developing three co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express locations in Wichita, Kansas, US.

The co-branded restaurants are scheduled to open next year in partnership with Uncle John’s Brands.

FAT Brands has been focused on developing co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express concepts in its major markets, including the US, Canada, Singapore, and China.

In October, the company opened a co-branded location in Lake Balboa, California, US.

FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn said: “In 2020, we significantly grew our presence of co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express, opening many locations both domestically and internationally.

“Burgers and wings complement each other well and the demand is there from a franchisee perspective. We have been eyeing Kansas for some time and think both brands will be received well in the bustling city of Wichita.”

Buffalo’s Express menu includes chicken wings and proprietary wing sauces such as Scorchin, Carolina Fire BBQ, Asian Sesame, Coconut Jerk, Honey Garlic, and Sweet Bourbon BBQ.

The chain is known for its chicken wings served with celery, carrots and blue cheese, and ranch or honey mustard dressing.

Apart from Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express, FAT Brands operates Johnny Rockets, Buffalo’s Cafe, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Elevation Burger, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses.
