Randy’s Donuts is planning to expand its presence nationwide with the launch of a franchise opportunity.

The company plans to continue corporate development throughout Los Angeles,  including stores in Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Pasadena.

Randy’s will also mark its entry in Downey with the opening of a 24-hour drive-through and a bakery in June this year.

The doughnut chain is planning to open more than 12 corporate locations across Southern California in 2020.

Randy’s Donuts president Mark Kelegian said: “From our contribution to pop culture to our mission to give back to the community, Randy’s sits in an enviable and unique position in the doughnut world.

“No one else offers the breadth of 50 varieties of handmade, proprietary choices, catering to cost-conscious and indulgent doughnut lovers.”

“We are ecstatic to now launch the franchise opportunity and bring Randy’s to cities across the nation.

The doughnut chain currently operates four locations in Inglewood, Century City, El Segundo and Hollywood, Los Angeles. It offers handmade doughnuts such as glazed, devil’s food, and chocolate raised, as well as deluxe crullers, buttermilk and apple fritter.
