US-based Brazilian-American steakhouse Texas de Brazil Churrascaria has opened a new location at the Saint Louis Galleria in the inner-ring suburb of Richmond Heights, Missouri.

Capable of seating more than 200 guests, the 6,500ft² restaurant features a salad area, an open grill kitchen, a feature table, wine cellar, a lounge, and a private dining room to accommodate up to 35 guests.

Menu offerings at the family-owned restaurant include gourmet artisan breads, imported cheeses, buffalo mozzarella, steamed asparagus with strawberry sauce, Brazilian hearts of palm, grilled Portobello mushrooms, Greek olives, shrimp salad, sautéed mushrooms, herbed sweet onions, feijoada (black beans), jasmine rice, and soup du jour.

Known for its rodizio-style dining, a selection of meats grilled over charcoal are available for guests, ranging from Brazilian picanha (sirloin), lamb chops, leg of lamb, filet mignon, chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, and Parmesan-crusted pork loin, to Brazilian sausages and more.

Texas de Brazil chief operating officer Salim Asrawi said: “We’re very happy to welcome guests to our new location in the bustling Saint Louis Galleria and the community of Richmond Heights.

A two-sided disc is available at each seat, allowing each guest to pace the meat service, with green indicating to the waiting staff that servings are welcome while red indicates a break is needed.

Apart from offering cocktails and desserts, the menu at the restaurant also features a wine collection that includes award-winning labels and Texas de Brazil’s private-label varietals bottled by Santa Rita Vineyards in Chile.
