Uber Eats has introduced a new initiative called Dine Out with Uber Eats, which focuses on providing customers with exclusive dining offers at restaurants.
Sydney is the first city in the world to pilot the programme.
The feature enables users to access special in-person deals at local eateries through the Uber Eats app.
To mark its launch, Uber Eats will organise a dining event named the House of Eats on 8 August 2025.
The complimentary pop-up event, overseen by chef Danielle Alvarez, will showcase a four-course menu that includes dishes from participating restaurants Catalina, Fabbrica and Mary’s. Wine pairings will be supplied by the local wine retailer and bar, P&V.
Featured menu items for the evening include Mary’s fried chicken with caviar, Fabbrica’s cacio e pepe with bottarga, Catalina’s pan-fried snapper with a herb salad, and Alvarez’s version of pavlova, which includes sorrel sorbet and yogurt mousse.
