Fast-casual restaurant FAT Brands has officially opened its first co-branded restaurant, which Round Table Pizza and Fatburger in Rancho Cordova, California.

The new venue offers Fatburger’s customisable burgers, fries and milkshakes along the traditional offerings of Round Table Pizza.

Fatburger is noted for its made-to-order burgers, which can be customised with toppings such as bacon, eggs, chilli and onion rings.

FAT Brands fast casual division chief operating officer Jake Berchtold stated: “There’s nothing better than seeing two iconic brands unite under one roof, especially in their home state.

“This opening also represents the first-ever Fatburger addition to an existing Round Table Pizza location – a strategic growth initiative we plan to continue expanding, particularly throughout California.”

In May 2025, FAT Brands announced that it would bolster its global presence by extending Buffalo’s Cafe into France. For this expansion, FAT Brands partnered with the team managing Big M CIE.

The restaurant company plans to open 10 new locations, with the first three operational by 2026.

In early 2025, FAT Brands appointed Taylor Wiederhorn as its new co-CEO, succeeding Rob Rosen.

Wiederhorn has been associated with FAT Brands since 2017, previously serving as chief development officer. In 2023, he also assumed the responsibilities of brand CEO for 15 of the company’s restaurant concepts.
