Sambazon, which specialises in Açaí-based food and beverages, has agreed with Açaí OH to introduce a series of açaí bowl outlets in Cincinnati, US and nearby regions.

The new restaurant outlets will be opened by 2030, with the first commencing operations in Cincinnati in the first quarter of 2026 – the company’s first physical establishment in the Midwest region.

Açaí OH is managed by Parin Chokshi, who brings 20 years of experience in the retail and convenience sector.

Chokshi previously held the position of master franchisee for Wing Snob in the greater Cincinnati area.

Parin stated: “Sambazon’s ability to offer a flexible footprint, their product and supply chain are all best-in-class assets, and there’s a tremendous first-mover advantage that our organisation is capitalising on.

“Açaí is a growing category, and we feel fortunate to partner with Sambazon to bring delicious bowls across the Midwest.”
