US Mexican restaurant chain Coyo Taco is preparing to establish its presence in the UK after entering a franchise agreement with investment company Kuvi Hospitality.

The company is in the process of securing a location in London, projected to open in early 2026.

Kuvi Hospitality, led by Shereen Ritchie, will spearhead the London launch of US brands in the UK market.

Ritchie stated: “The freshness of the food, the vibrancy of the speakeasy and the authenticity of its Mexican roots make it stand out from anything else in the UK market.

“We believe Coyo Taco will strike a powerful chord with Londoners and has the potential to thrive nationwide.”

Coyo Taco was co-founded in 2015 by Alan Drummond, Sven Vogtland and chef Scott Linquist in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District.
