Rusnak said: “I have been a proud part of the Dickey’s family for years, and every new location is about more than barbecue. It is about building connections and creating a space for families to gather.

“Canyon City is ready for authentic flavours, and we cannot wait to serve guests the same pit-smoked barbecue that has made Dickey’s a household name.”

The new location is set to offer Dickey’s signature menu, which includes pit-smoked meats, homestyle sides, and family packs.

In addition to the dine-in experience, the restaurant will provide takeout, delivery, and catering services, facilitating the Texas-style barbecue for various occasions.

The latest expansion continues Dickey’s recent growth trajectory.

In July, the company announced its intention to open a new outlet in Post Falls, Idaho, US. The new outlet will serve Texas-style barbecue with slow-smoked meats such as brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, pulled pork, ribs, and smoked chicken.

This followed an earlier expansion in March when Dickey’s opened a new location in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, further solidifying its presence in the city.
