
SpotOn, a provider of restaurant management solutions, has partnered digital payment company Visa to streamline tip payouts.
The collaboration will see the integration of Visa Direct and SpotOn’s DayCheck, an earned tip solution, which launched in September 2025.

This enables tipped staff to receive their earnings via Visa’s payment network shortly after they are earned.
DayCheck is designed to simplify tip distribution and support operators’ cash flow management.
SpotOn chief innovation officer Doron Friedman stated: “Independent restaurants are under pressure to do more with less, and that includes finding ways to support their teams.
“By working with Visa to bring Visa Direct into DayCheck, we’re giving operators a way to simplify tip payouts and cash flow, while empowering employees with the flexibility to access their earnings rapidly. It’s a win-win that strengthens both restaurants and the people who power them.”

The DayCheck solution does not need prefunding for merchants who are eligible, making rapid and transparent tip distribution.
SpotOn also cited Astra as the payments infrastructure provider that handles initiation to settlement and automated treasury functions, enabling payouts without manual cash handling or prefunding.
DayCheck is available in eligible US states.
In July 2025, SpotOn introduced Picked for You, an AI-powered menu recommendation capability, for its fee-free online ordering service, SpotOn Order.
Built with Amazon Web Services, the feature personalises online menus with the aim of improving order conversion.
