The culinary team is spearheaded by RDG partner and head of culinary chef Michaël Michaelidis alongside executive chef Frédéric Aumeunier, with a menu drawing on dishes and flavours from the Cycladic islands.
Menu items offered at AVA MediterrAegean include Aegean Tuna Ceviche, Mediterranean Seabass Carpaccio, Chilean Seabass Kakavia, Lobster Pasta and a 32oz Tomahawk steak.
The offering also features sharing plates such as Branzino Spetziota and Prawns Kadaifi, as well as mezze, salads and tableside dishes including Lamb Moussaka.
The design of the restaurant is intended to reflect RDG’s “modern Cycladic agora” concept.

By GlobalDataCreated by designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the space combines Greek island-style minimalism with an open-air terrace, a sculpted main dining room and a more private members’ area.
RDG founder and CEO Gregory Galy stated: “AVA Coconut Grove marks the evolution of our vision, a flagship that brings the soul of the Mediterranean to one of Miami’s most storied neighbourhoods.
“We have created a restaurant that welcomes guests with refined cuisine, design, and atmosphere. With AVA MM, we have added a private extension that offers an even deeper layer of discovery, giving our members a sanctuary for gastronomy, culture and connection.”
Within the same property, RDG has also introduced AVA MM, a members-only venue described as a secluded retreat with its own culinary and beverage programme.
AVA MM Coconut Grove is the fourth site in RDG’s MM Members Club network.
It serves a Japanese-inspired menu, cocktails and a curated wine selection, and hosts events such as chef-led dinners, tastings and other programmed activities.
RDG operates a portfolio of hospitality concepts: MILA Miami, AVA MediterrAegean in Winter Park, CASA NEOS and CLAUDIE.
The group launched with MILA Miami in 2020, followed by AVA MediterrAegean in Winter Park in 2022, CASA NEOS last year and CLAUDIE in 2025.
