By GlobalDataAs executive chairman, Imbrogno will continue to oversee the company’s long-term direction and governance, and remain active in areas such as brand marketing and culture.
He will also use his construction and real estate background to support the chain as it adds further locations.
Imbrogno stated: “In less than a year, he’s strengthened every part of our business — from technology and operations to marketing, menu development and real estate — while driving meaningful same-store-sales growth across the system.
“We share a vision for the future of Riko’s, and I am thrilled to have him at the helm and as my partner as we forge ahead.”
Bachmann has overseen an overhaul of the firm’s operational and growth framework.
This has included updating enterprise technology, enhancing vendor alliances and expanding headcount.
Under his guidance, the brand has also entered new markets on Florida’s Gulf Coast, in coastal North Carolina, suburban Long Island and Westchester County, New York.
Bachmann has also directed menu changes, introducing sliders and salads that can be ordered in a bowl, on a pizza base or in a wrap.
The business has also rolled out revised salad pizzas with dressing on the crust, new desserts such as gelato, and an expanded coffee offer.
Bachmann commented: “What Rico has created here is truly unique in the restaurant industry — both from a product and concept perspective.
“Riko’s is a special brand defined by its one-of-a-kind product, culture and people, and I’m excited to continue growing our footprint while staying true to the values that make us who we are.”
