Online ordering and marketing platform for restaurants ChowNow has appointed Jocelyn Mangan to its board of directors, expanding the members to five.

In her new role, Mangan will offer advice in expanding the company’s consumer strategy and takeout ordering capabilities.

ChowNow CEO and co-founder Chris Webb said: “An accomplished businesswoman and an outspoken leader in her field, Jocelyn’s unparalleled experience leading the development of best-in-class products in the hospitality industry will be invaluable to our company’s growth.

Prior to this role, Mangan served as the chief operating officer at an online employment website, Snag.

She also worked as the senior vice-president of product at OpenTable, where she was responsible for defining vision, strategy and development of its products. Mangan also held various senior roles at Ticketmaster.
