Family-owned Brazilian steakhouse group Avenida Brazil Steakhouse has expanded its presence in Texas with the opening of its first San Antonio outlet.

The new restaurant, situated at 17660 Henderson Pass, is the brand’s fourth establishment in the state, bringing the authentic gaucho dining experience to the local community.

Avenida Brazil is celebrated for its prime cuts of meat grilled over an open flame and served tableside in gaucho fashion.

The menu features a selection including the picanha – also referred to as sirloin cap – lamb chops and grilled shrimp.

These are complemented by a gourmet salad bar and traditional Brazilian sides.

Avenida Brazil also offers an online ordering system for pickup and delivery services to its guests.

The company has invested in dedicated spaces designed for hosting private dining events and parties.

To showcase these facilities, Avenida Brazil will host a special Holiday Events Showcase Open House on 20 September 2024, during which guests will have the opportunity to tour the private event spaces.

Avenida Brazil Steakhouse executive Chef Vanderlei Bernardi said: “Bringing the true flavours and authentic churrasco experience to our guests has always been what we’re all about.

“Whether you’re planning a future event in our private areas or just looking for a great meal, we’d love to have you join us.”

In September 2024, Brazilian-American steakhouse Texas de Brazil bolstered its footprint in the US by launching a new location in Cincinnati, Ohio, its first entry to the state.

The venue serves filet mignon, lamb chops, traditional Brazilian sausage and picanha.
