US fast-casual chain Baja Fresh Mexican Grill has announced the launch of Smokey Chipotle Chicken, a limited-time offering that features the flavours of chipotle sauce.
The new option is available at participating locations across the US until 20 October 2025.
The seasoned and grilled Smokey Chipotle Chicken option is set to appear in a bowl, a burrito, an a la carte taco and a taco combo.
The Smokey Chipotle Chicken Bowl comprises fire-grilled chicken with caramelised onions served over Baja rice with pinto/black beans, pickled red onions, jack and cotija cheeses, avocado slices, a lime wedge and chipotle aioli.
The burrito version wraps these ingredients in a tortilla, while the taco combo offers them in soft corn tortillas.
Baja fresh restaurant operations vice-president Logan Reves stated: “Smokey Chipotle Chicken is our take on chicken tinga with a Baja Fresh twist. It’s smoky, bold and has just the right amount of heat, making it perfect for customers looking to try something new on our menu.
