Will Stratton-Morris has resigned from his position as CEO of Caffè Nero UK after serving more than seven years in this role.
His resignation from the UK board took effect on 31 May 2025 and he has since assumed the role of group chief business development officer.
The search for a new CEO is underway, with the chain currently being managed by a team including Caffè Nero Group CEO Dr Gerry Ford.
Will Stratton-Morris has stepped down at a time when the chain has reported significant growth, announcing an 11% increase in worldwide sales and an 8% rise in the country’s sales in its third-quarter (Q3) results (December 2024 to February 2025).
During this period, the group also expanded its footprint by opening 15 stores, marking its entry into Saudi Arabia and adding four additional locations across the UK.
The chain announced in 2024 that it would enhance its presence at London’s Stansted Airport with the introduction of its first-ever 24-hour drive-through store.
