US burger chain Carl’s Jr is set to continue its UK expansion with a new restaurant opening in Wind Street in the Welsh city of Swansea.
The chain, known for its American-style menu, will share the building with another American chain, Slim Chickens, as reported by WalesOnline.
Expected to open in early September 2025, the Swansea location announcement follows the launch of the chain’s first UK branch in Cardiff’s St David’s Centre earlier in the year.
The restaurant is set to offer its signature $6 (£4.46) burger, charbroiled turkey burgers and hand-scooped milkshakes.
The chain is not only expanding its menu with a new burger for the summer but also introducing a breakfast menu.
It plans to open five more restaurants in the cities of Southampton, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and York by the end of 2025.
