US fast-casual restaurant brand Chicken Salad Chick has reached a milestone with the opening of its 300th outlet.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 alone, it secured 35 additional deals.

The company has now extended its reach across 21 states, with 12 new locations launched in Q1 2025.

The latest opening was led by first-time franchisees Allison Gibson and Cathy Brown.

Chicken Salad Chick is strategically focusing on expansion in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin, targeting areas with high economic potential.

The brand’s growth momentum is set to continue, with plans for new franchise development throughout the US in 2025.

Chicken Salad Chick franchise development vice-president Mark Verges stated: “What sets Chicken Salad Chick apart isn’t just our food – it’s the culture and consistency we offer our franchisees. The brand’s system-wide sales surpassed $353m in 2024 – a 38% increase over 2021.

Chicken Salad Chick has achieved an average unit volume (AUV) of $1.5m, as disclosed in its 2024 franchise disclosure document.

It recently announced the opening of a new location in Ortega Park, Jacksonville, Florida – its 40th establishment in the state – set to take place on 10 June.

The restaurant will offer dine-in delivery, and takeout.
