US-based fast casual restaurant Chicken Salad Chick is set to broaden its footprint in the state of Texas with a new outlet in Temple.

Situated at 1724 Scott Boulevard and set to open on 4 June 2025, it will be the brand’s 40th establishment in the state.

The new location is owned and operated by franchisee Austin Young, who first brought the Chicken Salad Chick experience to Waco in 2020.

The Temple community can now enjoy Chicken Salad Chick’s signature Southern-style chicken salad.

The restaurant also offers side salads, soups, desserts and signature sandwiches.

Young stated: “We love Chicken Salad Chick and are so fortunate to have so many positive interactions with our guests.

The Temple outlet provides a range of dining options, including in-restaurant and outdoor patio seating, take-out, a drive-through, kerbside pickup, catering services and third-party delivery.

Chicken Salad Chick president and CEO Scott Deviney stated: “We’re very proud to see Chicken Salad Chick continue to grow in Texas, especially now with the opening of our first location in Temple.

“Austin and his team are great leaders with proven experience, and his passion for the brand and the guests we serve every day will be sure to represent us well in this new market.”

The new restaurant will welcome guests six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00am and 8:00pm.
