Family-style US pizza chain Mountain Mike’s Pizza has signed a three-unit franchise agreement to further bolster its presence in the US state of Washington.
Franchisees Veronica and Gurjot Thind, a father-and-daughter team, will bring the brand to southern Washington’s greater Vancouver area.

The latest agreement follows a 10-unit agreement with franchise industry veterans Gurjot and Yashraj S Thind in 2023, targeting northwestern Washington and the greater Seattle area.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza CEO Jim Metevier said: “As a family-friendly pizza brand, we always appreciate opportunities to franchise with a family of talented businesspeople like the Thinds to bring pizza to eager communities in new and existing territories.
“We’ve worked diligently and strategically to build a robust development pipeline of 100 plus restaurants across 11 states, and we look forward to growing our brand throughout the Pacific Northwest by working in lockstep with our committed franchise partners.”
The brand is known for its handmade pizzas crafted with fresh ingredients, including crispy, curly pepperoni, 100% whole milk mozzarella cheese and a range of speciality toppings.

As part of its US growth strategy, Mountain Mike’s Pizza is extending its footprint in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.
With 300 units, Mountain Mike’s Pizza is set to continue its growth trajectory with more restaurant openings planned in 2024.
The brand is focused on establishing a presence in prime markets across the coast-to-coast regions of the US.
In January 2024, Mountain Mike’s Pizza inaugurated a new location in Fort Worth-Saginaw, Texas, marking its second establishment in the area and third in the state.
The company plans to open 30 more restaurants in Texas by the end of 2025, propelled by several multi-unit agreements.
