US-based fast-casual restaurant Corner Bakery Cafe is set to re-open its refurbished outlet at Fresno in the state of California on 3 May 2025.

The outlet is located at 8464 N Friant Road.

The re-opening will be marked with a community fundraiser, with 25% of all sales on opening day donated to the Fresno Chief of Police Foundation.

The initiative underscores the brand’s commitment to local impact and community connection.

The first 100 guests on opening day will receive a branded tumbler and a year-long coffee giveaway.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned in collaboration with the Fresno Police Department, culminating in a cake-cutting event where guests can try the café’s signature Cinnamon Creme Cake.

The outlet will offer handcrafted breakfasts, sandwiches, pastas, salads and bakery treats.

Corner Bakery Cafe Fresno general manager Ruben Reyes stated: “We’re incredibly proud to be reopening our doors and reconnecting with the Fresno community. This celebration is not only about welcoming guests back, but also about giving back — and we’re honoured to support the Fresno Chief of Police Foundation in the process.”

The re-opening will be the 29th location within the state.

Corner Bakery completed upgrades at six other California venues between October 2024 and January 2025, as it revitalises its chain-wide presence.

Corner Bakery Cafe CEO Chris Dharod added: “We want our communities to know we’re here to stay, and our loyal guests deserve cafés that look and feel special. These renovations and enhancements reflect our commitment to elevating the Corner Bakery experience.”

In April 2025, the café launched a new selection of sandwiches.

The launch features the return of the DC Chicken Salad sandwich and the roll-out of the new Pretzel sandwich, the Roast Beef & Blue sandwich and the Ham or Turkey & Swiss Breakfast Croissant.
