Costa Coffee has opened a new drive-through outlet in Ebbw Vale, UK, featuring digital menu boards and seating areas, both indoors and outdoors.

The new Ebbw Vale Costa Coffee store offers freshly baked pastries that are available throughout the day.

The drive-through service provides a swift option for patrons on the move to grab their favourite beverages and bites.

Additionally, the store provides several electric vehicle charging points, allowing customers to recharge their cars while sipping on the chain’s Mocha Italia Signature.

The launch of the Ebbw Vale location supports the local economy, creating 15 new employment opportunities.

The store is also dog-friendly, welcoming owners to enjoy a break alongside their pets.

Operating hours for the Ebbw Vale Costa Coffee Drive Thru are from 7 am to 10 pm from Monday to Saturday, and 7 am to 8 pm on Sunday.

The store also facilitates orders through Click and Collect via the Costa Club App.

Costa Coffee area manager Sian John said: “We’re thrilled to have opened our new store in Ebbw Vale.

“This store offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, and we look forward to becoming part of the daily routines of our customers here in South Wales.” 

In May 2025, the chain expanded its footprint in the country, launching a new drive-through store situated in Stainer Close in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

In the same month, it also announced the reopening of its fully refurbished store located at 210 Brook Street, Broughty Ferry.

Founded in 1971 by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa, the chain has grown to over 2,800 coffee shops in the UK and Ireland and more than 1,400 internationally.

In 2024, the chain launched Costa Coffee Professional, a brand dedicated to providing total coffee solutions for various businesses, including hotels, on-the-go and convenience locations, workplaces and petrol stations.
