GEN Restaurant Group, parent company of GEN Korean BBQ, has announced the opening of three new international outlets in South Korea.
This expansion is the company’s first entry to the city and brings the total number of GEN Korean BBQ locations to 55.
The brand is known for its casual dining concept and “grill at your table” experience.
Founded in 2011 by two Korean immigrants in Los Angeles, GEN Korean BBQ has grown to over 53 company-owned locations across the US.
Its menu features traditional Korean and Korean-American dishes, including quality meats, seafood, poultry and mixed vegetables, allowing guests to prepare their meals on embedded grills located at the centre of each table.
GEN chairman and CEO David Kim stated: “We are excited to announce the opening of three new international locations in South Korea: two GEN locations and one KAN Sushi.
