US-based restaurant company Habit is set to expand its national footprint with the launch of two new outlets in the state of California and New Jersey.
Both will open on 17 December 2025.

The new drive-through California site is located at 18187 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside – the company’s fourth site in the city.
The New Jersey restaurant is situated at 388 Route 3 West, Clifton.
Habit culinary innovation director Jason Triail stated: “We’re always excited to open a new Habit, but it’s extra special to do it in our home state of California, and this will be our fourth spot in Riverside.
“Riverside loves good food, and we can’t wait to fire up the grills and serve our charburgers, stacked sandwiches, fresh salads, tasty sides and all the Habit favourites.”

By GlobalDataThe outlets will provide on-premise dining and takeaway, alongside delivery ordered via the Habit mobile application and website.
Customers will also be able to use indoor self-order kiosks, with third-party delivery available through Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats.
Triail stated: “New Jersey has always welcomed Habit with big open arms – so we’re extra pumped to be opening our newest restaurant in Clifton.
“This vibrant and diverse city already has a deep food scene, and we’re excited to add to it with our award-winning charburgers, sandwiches, fresh salads, unique sides, and all the flavour-packed goodness we have to offer.”
Habit’s menu includes its Charburgers, marinated chicken and sushi-grade ahi tuna, as well as a range of sandwiches, salads and shakes.
The chain was founded in Southern California in 1969 and has expanded to more than 385 restaurants across 15 US states and in international markets.
In early December 2925, the brand expanded into the state of Oregon with an outlet in Happy Valley.
