Fast-casual restaurant chain Huey Magoo’s has opened its first airport restaurant at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in the US state of Florida.

The new venue, named On the Fly, is located beyond the security checkpoint in Concourse B and represents the brand’s 77th restaurant in the US.

Huey Magoo’s president and CEO Andy Howard stated: “This milestone marks an exciting step in our growth strategy.

“Opening our first airport location allows us to introduce the brand to an even broader audience while delivering the same high-quality experience our guests have come to love.”

Huey Magoo’s has introduced a breakfast menu that includes a breakfast burrito or bowl with chicken tenders, scrambled eggs and melted cheese, served alongside breakfast potatoes with a choice of sauce and an option to add bacon.

For lunch, offerings include 3-piece and 5-piece tender meals accompanied by fries, Texas toast and house-made dips.

The 842ft² restaurant is managed by Lauren Mitchell, who has two decades of experience in the restaurant sector.

Mitchell stated: “I’m incredibly proud to open the first Huey Magoo’s airport location and introduce the brand to travelers at SRQ.

“Whether they’re just arriving or heading out on an adventure, guests can now enjoy our signature tenders in a convenient and travel-friendly setting.”

The brand has recently launched a loyalty programme called Magoo’s Rewards, which allows customers to earn points towards free food with each purchase.
