By GlobalDataTo mark the new Niagara Falls location, Jimmy John’s is collaborating with Fallsview Casino to arrange a celebratory event in September 2025.
The sandwich chain made its initial venture into the Canadian market in 2024 with the opening of its first establishment in Toronto, situated near Sherway Gardens at 197 North Queen St, Etobicoke.
This expansion was facilitated through a partnership with Montreal-based Foodtastic, which specialises in franchising restaurant brands.
Foodtastic president and CEO Peter Mammas said: “We have a big appetite for opening new stores because we know how much our fellow Canadians appreciate a fantastic-tasting sandwich with fresh ingredients.
“We’re always on the hunt for the world’s best food brands and are committed to making these available right here in our country. And Jimmy John’s is right up there – pickle or not.”
As part of its international growth, the chain entered into two franchise agreements in 2024 to extend its reach into the Canadian and Latin American markets.
In Canada, the chain’s expansion is being steered by Foodtastic, while Franquicias Internacionales aided its entry into Latin American territories.
