Philippines-based fast-food restaurant chain Jollibee is set to debut in the US state of Oregon with a new location in Hillsboro.

The launch, scheduled for 30 May 2025, marks a milestone in the company’s North American expansion strategy.

Situated at 10875 NE Cornell Road in the Tanasbourne Village shopping centre, the new Jollibee’s offerings include Chickenjoy fried chicken and Chicken Sandwiches, alongside newer options such as the 100% certified Angus Beef Burgers.

The Chickenjoy is a bone-in fried chicken served with gravy. The Chicken Sandwich features white-meat chicken breast fillet on a toasted brioche bun with Jollibee’s signature mayo.

The menu also includes desserts such as Peach Mango Pie, with a crust filled with sweet peaches and mangoes, and Ube Pie, made with the Southeast Asian purple yam known as the ube.

The Pineapple Quencher drink will also be available to complement the meal experience.

The Hillsboro location, operating from 9am to 11pm seven days a week, will offer dine-in, take-out and drive-through services, with online ordering set to launch shortly after opening.

Honeybee Foods Corporation (doing business as Jollibee Business Group) head Maribeth Dela Cruz stated: “We are very excited to continue expanding our footprint in the Pacific Northwest with the opening of our very first Jollibee in the state of Oregon – it has been a dream for a long time, and we’re thrilled to finally make it a reality in Hillsboro.

“The Portland metro area has a vibrant food scene that embraces international flavours, so we can’t wait to introduce our joyfully unique dining experience to the area’s residents and visitors, especially those seeking new and exciting culinary experiences.”

Jollibee’s Pacific Northwest expansion began in October 2023 with the launch of its first Tacoma, Washington location.

The company’s goal is to become a $1bn business by 2028, and the Pacific Northwest is integral to this ambition.

Jollibee plans to introduce its diverse menu to both existing and new markets, with future locations in cities such as San Francisco, California and the borough of Queens in New York.

As the flagship brand of the Jollibee Group, Jollibee has been serving the Philippines for more than forty years.

The brand’s expansion into the US market continues, following 2024’s announcement of a new Seattle, Washington outlet.
