The unit connects to Leanpath’s existing AI platform, which examines food waste and produces suggested operational adjustments tailored to each kitchen.

The floor scale employs embedded machine vision to instantly record photos and operational details of the recognised waste items with no user intervention.
Data gathered by the unit is fed into Leanpath’s food waste dashboard to provide analytics, reports and guidance designed to support chefs and managers respond to waste insights.
