McDonald’s has expanded its UK menu with the introduction of The Big Arch burger and announced a strategic leadership transition to support the chain’s ongoing transformation journey.
Priced at £7.99 (around $10.80) for the burger alone, or £9.99 as part of a medium meal, the Big Arch burger features two Quarter Pounder beef patties along with lettuce and cheese.
It has already been released in France, Portugal, and Canada.
Additional items on the UK menu are Halloumi Fries, the Cheesy McCrispy, the Toffee Crisp McFlurry and Toffee Apple Pie.
The Big Arch sauce’s ingredients include McDonald’s ketchup, pickle juice, mustard and pepper.
McDonald’s UK and Ireland menu head Thomas O’Neill describes the Big Arch as “one of the biggest things [McDonald’s] will launch in a generation.
