Fast-food chain McDonald’s has announced the removal of the Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap from its offerings.

This decision is part of the company’s menu rotation strategy, as reported by The Sun.

A company spokesperson stated: “As part of our regular wrap rotation, we’ve taken the Caesar wrap off the menu for now.

“We’re always evolving our menu with our customers in mind to keep things fresh and exciting.”

The tortilla wrap, which featured chicken breast strips, crispy onions, Caesar-style sauce, bacon and lettuce, was introduced in the summer of 2023.

The move is claimed to have sparked a wave of disappointment among fast food lovers, expressed on social media platforms such as Reddit.

The Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap’s removal follows a pattern of McDonald’s limited-time offerings, such as the return of the McRib sandwich in October 2024 after an almost decade-long absence. The McRib was also discontinued shortly after its reintroduction.

In addition to these menu changes, McDonald’s is also planning to close its standalone beverage concept, CosMc’s.

The brand will discontinue the CosMc’s app and plans to introduce new beverages inspired by the drive-through concept at select test locations in the future.

In June 2024, the chain also announced the extension of its late-night service hours to midnight or later at most US locations.

Some items may be excluded from the menu during late-night service, depending on the decisions of individual franchisees.

With more than 1,270 restaurants in the UK alone and 120,000 employees, the company also recently unveiled a new European outlet at Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain.
