Restaurant chain Milestones has announced the opening of its Milestones Test Kitchen and the prohibition era-inspired Fraser Bar in Vancouver, Canada.
Marking a collaborative effort between Pacific Rose Hospitality Group and Foodtastic, the company behind Milestones, the launch sees the chain returning to the city where it first opened in 1989.

Pacific Rose Hospitality Group partner Chad Huff said: “We’ve been operating Milestones locations across British Columbia and Alberta since 2022, and considering our passion for the banner and momentum, we’ve only just begun our journey.
“We are grateful to our amazing team and the great partnership that we have with Foodtastic, both of which allow us to focus our efforts on growing this amazing brand in Western Canada.”
The Milestones Test Kitchen, led by head chef Jeff Dell, blends Milestones dishes with new recipes.

“I can assure you we’re not taking this trust lightly. Our team is working intensely to find the right new recipes, and to gather feedback from the people whose opinion matters most to us – our local patrons.”
Situated above the test kitchen, Fraser Bar serves a selection of plates alongside cocktails in an atmosphere that dates back to the 1920s and 1930s.
Foodtastic founder and president Peter Mammas said: “We’re proud of our Canadian roots and DNA.
“And while that’s true and important, I can tell you we’re just as proud of our people and our partners, like Pacific Rose Hospitality Group, who work tirelessly to serve our customers and live up to our values. This, when added to our food, is why people return to dine with us.”
