
India-based coffee chain Nothing Before Coffee (NBC) has opened ten new stores in the second quarter (Q2) of 2023, reported ETHospitalityWorld.com.
The new locations are part of the company’s plans to open more than 50 new outlets by May 2024.
Over the next 12 months, NBC intends to expand its footprint in India’s northern cities, including Chandigarh, New Delhi and Jammu.
The news agency quoted NBC founder and chief operating officer Anand Jain as saying: “We are thrilled with the tremendous response we have received from our customers.
“As Nothing Before Coffee continues to thrive in the Indian coffee market, achieving outstanding Q2 sales and the opening of ten new outlets, we are excited to unveil our highly anticipated flagship store in Delhi’s Connaught Place, which is currently under progress. We can’t wait to open its doors to the public.”
The coffeehouse chain partnered with franchise consultancy Building Brands for Tomorrow (BBFT) for this expansion.

By GlobalDataBBFT CEO Rohit Singh said: “There is ‘a significant untapped market for affordable coffee segment brands’ in many parts of northern India, including Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh and Jammu, which Nothing Before Coffee is seeking to tap into.”
The IndianRetailer.com reported that NBC opened ten new outlets across six cities in the second quarter.
The chain recorded a growth rate of 23% in Q2 this year as against the previous quarter.
NBC was established in 2017 and currently operates across nine Indian states and is offering its services in both Tier-l and Tier-ll cities.
Its offerings include coffees, teas, shakes, mocktails, hot chocolate, sandwiches and cookies.
