Palona and Goodcall aim to turn restaurant phone lines into a revenue-generating, data‑driven channel for guest engagement.

Palona AI CEO Maria Zhang stated: “Restaurants still rely heavily on the phone, yet service expectations have changed.

“By partnering with Goodcall, we’re combining their proven expertise in AI-driven voice systems with Palona’s restaurant domain intelligence to create something the industry has been waiting for — a voice AI that actually understands hospitality.”

Currently, Goodcall’s AI platform supports small businesses with smart answering, customer relationship management and booking automation.

In June 2025, Palona AI unveiled an AI sales assistant designed specifically for the pizza, fast casual and quick service restaurant sectors.

Known as Restaurant AI, the solution integrates Palona’s conversational intelligence, complex customisation handling and a multimodal memory system to address a key challenge in foodservice: consistently correct order-taking via voice or text.
