Papa Johns Canada, part of Papa John’s International, has reintroduced its Butter Chicken Pizza.

The item, exclusively made for the Canadian market, is priced at C$19.99 ($14.21).

The offering uses the chain’s fresh, never frozen dough. Papa Johns’ original dough is made from six ingredients.

Butter Chicken Pizza is topped with grilled chicken, green peppers and onions, then is finished with a subtly sweet sauce.

Papa Johns senior franchise growth director Michael Prentice stated: “Butter Chicken Pizza has a way of standing out on our menu.

“It’s bold, flavourful and one of the pizzas our guests ask about the most. We’re excited to bring it back and give Canadians another reason to choose Papa Johns.”

The Butter Chicken Pizza is now available at participating outlets across the country.

Papa John’s International, co-headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and Louisville, Kentucky, was founded in 1984.

It operates 6,000 restaurants across about 50 countries and territories.

The pizza brand recently re-entered the Indian market after a hiatus of eight-years, launching four restaurants in Hennur, Indiranagar, Electronic City and Sarjapur Road.

Papa Johns India is set to be operated by master franchisee PJP Foods India, a joint venture between PJP Investments Group and Ambrosia QSR.

In early 2025, Papa Johns announced the launch of its Croissant Pizza into nine markets, beginning with the United Arab Emirates.

The new offering provides a layered bite with a braided flaky crust.
