Pappas Restaurants has partnered Tabit, a provider of mobile-first, enterprise-grade restaurant management technology, to enhance its technology infrastructure.
The collaboration follows a comprehensive evaluation process, positioning Tabit as a core technology partner for all Pappas restaurant concepts.
Pappas Restaurants, known for brands such as Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen and Pappasito’s Cantina, has prioritised technology-enabled service to improve operational success and guest experience. The partnership will see Tabit replace Pappas’s existing solutions with enterprise solutions tailored for complex, multi-unit operations.
The solutions include in-store tech such as mobile-first point-of-sale, kitchen display systems, and labour scheduling and management. The enterprise management suite will cover catalogue and pricing management, reporting and business intelligence, and AI-based analytics. Full operational redundancy and disaster recovery infrastructure are also part of the package.
Pappas Restaurants CEO Mike Rizzo stated: “This was one of the most important technology decisions we’ve made in the past twenty years.” He praised Tabit’s approach to hospitality and its ability to execute at scale, highlighting its adaptability and innovation as key factors in the decision.
Tabit co-founder and president Nadav Solomon stated: “Being selected by Pappas Restaurants is a tremendous honour. This is one of the largest family-owned restaurant groups in the country, and they represent the gold standard of excellence. We’re grateful to their leadership and ownership for trusting us with such a valuable, large-scale project.”
