Bakery café concept Paris Baguette has expanded its presence by launching a new outlet in East Plano, in the US state of Texas.

The latest café, situated at 1201 East Parker Road, Suite 100, is the brand’s 17th Texas location.

The development of the East Plano café is led by franchisee Waleed Liaqat and his business partner, who have secured the rights to set up the outlet in the area.

Liaqat stated: “From the moment I walked into Paris Baguette, I knew it was something special — the atmosphere, the quality, the way people connected to the brand.

“It’s incredibly exciting to now be opening our first location in East Plano. We’re proud to bring this unique bakery-café experience to a vibrant, diverse community that truly deserves it, and we’re just getting started.”

The new opening is part of Paris Baguette’s goal to operate 1,000 units across the US and Canada by 2030.

Paris Baguette seeks to foster community connections through its offering of baked goods and artisan coffee beverages.

Paris Baguette CEO Darren Tipton stated: “We’re on a mission to re-establish the neighbourhood bakery café as the heart of the community across the US, and we’re excited to see Waleed bring this to life in his local trade area.”

The brand currently has more than 245 bakery cafés in North America, with more in the pipeline, all in alignment with the 2030 vision.

Paris Baguette introduced its summer menu in June 2025, featuring desserts that highlight strawberry and pistachio flavours, complemented by a range of beverages and barbecue-inspired dishes.

Continuing its Texas expansion, the chain then opened a new bakery café in Flower Mound in July. Located at 2000 Long Prairie Road, this site became the 15th Paris Baguette café in the state.
