
Pizza Hut is set to close 68 dine-in restaurants in the UK after DC London Pie, the operator of the company’s UK sites, entered administration.
The closures will result in the loss of 1,210 jobs. Eleven delivery-only outlets will also shut down.

FTI Consulting was appointed as administrator to DC London Pie.
Yum! Brands, Pizza Hut’s global owner, has agreed to acquire 64 of the UK’s remaining dine-in restaurants in a pre-pack administration deal, preserving 1,276 jobs.
A spokesperson for Pizza Hut UK stated: “Today we announce the acquisition of the Pizza Hut dine-in operations through a pre-packaged administration, after FTI was announced today as administrators of DC London Pie, a franchisee of Pizza Hut dine-in restaurants.
“We are pleased to secure the continuation of 64 sites to safeguard our guest experience and protect the associated jobs.

DC London Pie purchased Pizza Hut UK’s restaurants from insolvency in January 2025.
Pizza Hut Europe and Canada managing director Nicolas Burquier stated: “This targeted acquisition aims to safeguard our guest experience and protect jobs where possible.”
“Our immediate priority is operational continuity at the acquired locations and supporting colleagues through the transition.”
Yum! Brands reported net income of $374m for the second quarter of 2025, up from $367m in the same period of 2024. However, Pizza Hut faced challenges in the quarter, registering a 1% fall in global same-store sales as well as a 5% decrease in the US.
