
US-based fast casual restaurant chain Rubio’s Coastal Grill has partnered with on-demand food delivery service Postmates to deliver from all locations nationwide.
Customers can place orders online, as well as via the Postmates app, with a minimum delivery fee of $1.99.
Postmates senior vice-president and merchant lead Dan Mosher said: “Rubio’s already has a strong presence on the Postmates platform, particularly in the Southwest where Postmates is the market leader.
“Postmates currently serves 60% of US households, and as we continue to expand nationwide, we are confident that we are a great partner for Rubio’s to reach more customers.”
Rubio’s president and CEO Marc Simon said: “We’re a mission-driven company and we look for partners that are like-minded as Postmates is.
“We’re confident that we’ll be able to provide our guests with the best food in minutes.”

By GlobalDataEstablished in 1983, Rubio’s Coastal Grill currently operates more than 200 restaurants in California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and Florida.
It offers a range of menu choices, including original fish tacos, wild Alaska coho salmon, burritos, bowls and salads. Established in 2011, Postmates offers on-demand delivery services from various restaurants and stores.
Last week, the company expanded its presence in the US by launching delivery services in 134 new cities.
