
US fast food chain SONIC Drive-In, in collaboration with Grillo’s Pickles, is set to launch the SONIC x Grillo’s Pickles Big Dill Meal.
From 30 June 2025, customers across the US can purchase the new pickle-themed lineup at all SONIC locations.
The Big Dill Meal features the SONIC x Grillo’s Pickles Big Dill Double & Triple SONIC Smasher, a twist on the classic Double SONIC Smasher.
The burgers feature Angus beef, dill pickle-seasoned crispy cucumbers, two slices of American cheese, dilly ranch, fresh lettuce and Grillo’s Pickle Chips on a soft potato bun.
The Big Dill Double SONIC Smasher is priced from $7.49, while the Big Dill Triple SONIC Smasher starts at $8.49.
SONIC x Grillo’s Pickles Picklerita Slush is a combination of pickle juice and tart lime with Pickle Juice Flavor Bubbles, garnished with a Grillo’s Pickle Chip. It is available for $3.99 for a 20oz serving.

By GlobalDataSONIC x Grillo’s Pickles Seasoned Tots or Groovy Fries are both sprinkled with Grillo’s Pickle seasoning and cost $2.99 for a medium size.
SONIC marketing and strategy vice-president Barb Williams stated: “We’ve been innovating in pickles since 2018 […] and now, with help from our friends at Grillo’s, we’re taking our pickle obsession to the next level.
“Every item in the Big Dill Meal is curated to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience and showcase what we do best: bold, unexpected and unapologetically pickle-forward flavour.”
The partnership extends beyond the menu with the introduction of limited-edition Sam-Sam packaging and an exclusive pickle-inspired merchandise collection.
In May 2025, SONIC announced the return of two slushes and the launch of a new snack to its menu for the summer season.
A member of the Inspire Brands family of restaurants, SONIC was established in 1953 and has since expanded to more than 3,400 restaurants in 47 states.
