
US restaurant brand SONIC Drive-In is bringing back two slushes and introducing a new snack to its menu for the summer season 2025.
Customers can enjoy the return of Watermelon and Lemonberry Slushes, along with the new Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni Bites, from 27 May.
The brand is also offering half-price SONIC Shakes after 5pm, in any size and flavour.
Watermelon Slush, priced from $2.79 for a medium, is making its first appearance since 2019.
Lemonberry Slush, from $3.29 for a medium, combines SONIC Slush with strawberries and a hint of lemon, and returns having last been seen in 2020.
The seasonal beverages are available for a limited time.

Customers can choose from three, five, or seven-piece orders, with prices from $2.99. The bites are designed to complement any of SONIC’s drink selections.
In early 2025, SONIC Drive-In announced a collaboration with Mexican company Industrias Tajín to introduce the Strawberry Mangonada Slush to its Flavorista Favorites drink line-up in the US.
The beverage, inspired by the traditional Mexican mangonada, is a fusion of strawberry and mangonada syrup with Tajín Clásico Chili Lime seasoning.
