Fast-food restaurant company Subway has announced that its trial of Spudway, a new range of jacket potatoes, is to be extended until September 2025.
The menu addition, introduced in February 2025, has led to rises in same-store sales and guest traffic across Subway’s 170 UK trial locations.
Spudway offerings include classic British toppings such as cheese and baked beans, alongside combos such as tuna mayo and cheese, and taco beef and cheese.
Subway Europe, Middle East and Africa interim director of innovation and culinary Cathy Goodwin stated: “At Subway, we’re constantly looking for new ways to evolve our menu and provide our guests with delicious options they can feel good about.
“By putting our own spin on this beloved British comfort staple, Spudway has proven to be a huge success with both guests and franchisees, and shows we’re delivering when it comes to providing freshly prepared, convenient and affordable meals that guests love.”
The Spudway range is part of Subway’s commitment to enhancing the guest experience.
