US-based upscale-casual steakhouse concept The Chop House, part of the Connor Concepts restaurant group, plans to launch a new restaurant in Alcoa in the state of Tennessee.

Set to open in spring 2026, the move forms part of the company’s ongoing expansion in East Tennessee.

The Chop House Alcoa will be fitted with wood-themed décor and will serve a menu of hand-cut steaks, chops and in-house prepared seafood.

The venue will be open daily for lunch from 11:00am and will operate happy hours.

Hiring for the new Alcoa location will commence in early 2026, creating local jobs.

Connor Concepts restaurant group manages The Chop House, which was established in 1992, alongside another upscale-casual steakhouse brand Connors Steak & Seafood.

In October 2025, Connors announced new locations in Florida, with a Tallahassee restaurant that opened in spring 2025 and a Naples site to open by early 2026.

The Tallahassee location offers US Department of Agriculture prime steaks and US Department of Commerce-inspected seafood, alongside a selection of craft cocktails.
