US burger chain Habit is preparing to expand into the state of Oregon, with an outlet scheduled to open in Happy Valley on 3 December 2025.

The restaurant, located at 11400 SE 82nd Ave, Happy Valley, will provide dine-in and takeaway services.

Customers will also be able to order for delivery via the Habit mobile app and online.

Indoor self-service kiosks and third-party delivery platforms Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats will be available to handle orders.

The dining room will operate daily from 10:30am to 10:00pm.

Habit Burger director of culinary innovation Jason Triail stated: “[Happy Valley] is a great community that loves good food, and we can’t wait to fire up the grills and serve our award-winning charburgers, stacked sandwiches, fresh salads with hot chargrilled chicken, and all the Habit favourites.”

Habit is planning a series of invitation-style opening events for members of its CharClub loyalty programme and mobile app users.

Free Charburger Day will be held on 1 December, when the first 200 guests at 11:30am and 5:00pm will receive a free Charburger, fries and drink.

On 2 December, the company will stage Free Habit Day, when the first 200 guests at 11:30am and 5:00pm will receive a free chargrilled meal from one of the pre-set menus.

Habit is known for customer-cooked charburgers, prepared over an open flame. Its menu also features sandwiches, salads and shakes.

Founded in Southern California in 1969, Habit has expanded to more than 385 outlets across 14 states and internationally.

In early 2025, it opened new restaurants in Folsom and Cameron Park, California.
