
Wendy’s has partnered Takis to introduce a new limited-time meal.
The Wendy’s Takis Fuego collaboration, which features the Takis Fuego Chicken Sandwich and Fuego Fries, is intended for customers in the US and Canada who enjoy spicy food.
From 20 June 2025 in US restaurants and 30 June in Canada, Wendy’s customers can experience the iconic Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Takis Fuego chips.
The sandwich features Wendy’s seasoned Spicy Chicken Filet topped with crushed Takis Fuego chips, Chili Lime Sauce, corn spread and a cheddar cheese sauce.
Wendy’s new Fuego Fries take the chain’s classic Hot & Crispy Fries, coat them in a chili lime seasoning then serve them in a custom tear-away bag for easy sharing.
Wendy’s US chief marketing officer Lindsay Radkoski stated: “At Wendy’s, we know how to keep things spicy, and we love serving up fresh, famous collaborations […] which made this partnership with Takis a no-brainer. By joining forces with such an iconic and beloved snacking brand, we’re turning up the heat and flavour.”

Wendy’s is also engaging fans with an in-app game called Spice Invasion.
From 20 June to 20 July 2025, US app users can play the retro arcade-style game in which they navigate through levels, using Takis chips to blast Wendy’s menu items for points, prizes and a chance to win a grand prize of $10,000.
The Wendy’s Company and Wendy’s franchisees operate 7,000 restaurants globally.
The Takis brand is part of Barcel USA, the US snack division of baking company Grupo Bimbo, which operates in more than 30 countries.
