Wing It On!, the wing concept from Craveworthy Brands, is set to expand its presence in the US state of Illinois with two new franchise agreements, one in Springfield and the other in Carol Stream. Openings will take place in the first half of 2025. 

In Springfield, a local entrepreneur and military veteran will bring Wing It On! to the state’s capital.  

With a background in sports and wellness franchising and real estate, this marks the franchisee’s first venture into the foodservice sector. Prime locations within Springfield are being sought. 

The brand has also partnered with an experienced quick-service franchise group for its Northwestern suburban expansion.  

This group, known for its strong track record in the restaurant industry, plans to open its first Wing It On! location in the first quarter of the year.

Wing It On! co-founder and brand president Matt Ensero said: “We’re proud to team up with these champion entrepreneurs to introduce Wing It On! in more Illinois communities, delivering a knockout Buffalo wing experience to local wingnuts.”

Illinois has become a strategic market for Wing It On!’s growth across the US.  

The company inaugurated its first corporate-owned Midwest location in Lombard in July 2024.  

Wing It On! stated that its “turnkey footprint and streamlined operations” allow entrepreneurs to serve “wings with ease”, adding that its franchise model is designed for off-premises dining, with a streamlined menu compatible with virtual kitchens to create new revenue opportunities.  

Technology-driven features such as mobile ordering and digital loyalty programmes aim to boost customer engagement, encourage repeat visits and set franchise partners up for long-term success.
