New York City-based Brooklyn Chop House is set to open a restaurant on the seventh-floor penthouse of the Moxy Miami Wynwood hotel in the US state of Florida on 11 November 2025.

The venue occupies two penthouse levels and is described as one of Miami’s only two-level dining and nightlife concepts.

Brooklyn Chop House CEO and owner Robert "Don Pooh" Cummins stated: "When we started Brooklyn Chop House, we wanted to cultivate a culinary experience that showcases our cuisine but transcends into an elevated guest affair. We wanted to create a full cultural immersion that blends food, music and style.

"We're thrilled to bring Brooklyn Chop House to Miami, a city that shares our passion for flavour, music and style. This space captures the spirit of both New York and Miami — bold, luxurious and unforgettable."

The 20,000ft² space features an open layout that connects the bar, lounge and main dining areas, with a grand staircase from the dining room to a rooftop lounge on the upper level.

The restaurant’s culinary programme pairs dim sum-style small plates with traditional steakhouse offerings.

The menu, led by chef Erick Melendez, merges Chinese-inspired dishes with classic chops and seafood, and draws on global influences and Miami’s coastal character.

Offerings for the Miami location include crudos, seafood towers, Asian-influenced rolls and exclusive items such as Chilean sea bass satay.

Steaks listed for the outpost include a 34-ounce bone-In dry-aged tomahawk and a Japanese Wagyu Ribeye.

Signature presentations include whole Peking duck and a tasting menu featuring lobster, steak and duck.

Larger seafood items such as a four-pound whole lobster and steamed seabass with black bean and garlic are also alongside dim sum selections from wagyu gyoza to Peking duck bao.
