US fast-casual restaurant concept Chicken Salad Chick is continuing its growth trajectory in the Atlantic region, with new multi-unit franchisees across key states.

According to a company’s press release, the Carters are set to introduce the chain in Morehead City, North Carolina.

Devon Chamberlin, Patrick Cavanaugh and Barry Chamberlin have increased their commitment from eight to 12 locations in the state of Virginia.

The Moore brothers will further the chain’s footprint in Central Virginia, and the Longleys are breaking into the northeast market with a launch in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Amanda and Ernest Greenford are focusing on Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Jim Schleckser and Carrie Tydings are targeting expansion in Montgomery County, Maryland, and Hannah Hinson is also poised to bring the brand to  Maryland.

Chicken Salad Chick franchise development vice-president Mark Verges stated: "With strong in-migration, suburban growth and a deep-rooted appreciation for community-centred brands, the Atlantic region offers ideal conditions for franchise success.

"We're proud to grow alongside exceptional multi-unit operators who are helping us bring the Chick experience to more neighbourhoods than ever before."

The brand's 2024 franchise disclosure document revealed more than $353m in system-wide sales - a 38% rise from 2021 - and an average unit volume of $1.5m.

The chain is known for its Southern-style chicken salads, side salads, sandwiches, desserts and gourmet soups.

Founded in 2008 by Stacy and Kevin Brown, it has expanded to more than 300 outlets across 22 US states and continues its growth, detailing plans in June 2025 to broaden its Midwest presence with ten openings in the Minneapolis area.

In May, it achieved a milestone with the launch of its 300th outlet.
