US-based fast casual restaurant Chicken Salad Chick is set to open its latest Virginia location at 4640 Casey Blvd in Williamsburg.

The opening is set for 27 May 2025.

Chicken Salad Chick offers made-from-scratch chicken salad flavours, fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches and desserts.

The Williamsburg restaurant will provide in-restaurant and outdoor patio dining, take-out, third-party delivery and catering services.

The Williamsburg community is invited to join the celebration, which will showcase the brand's Southern hospitality and feature specials and giveaways.

On Tuesday, 27 May, the first guest in line will win a free large Quick Chick of chicken salad weekly for a year, with the next 99 guests receiving the same offer monthly.

Throughout the week, guests can enjoy more offers, such as a free Chicken Salad Chick Black Tumbler for the first fifty to purchase a Chick Trio on Wednesday, 28 May.

On Thursday, early customers will receive a complimentary golf towel and ball, while Friday's first fifty Chick Trio purchasers will be given a tote bag.

The new outlet is the fourth location for franchise owner Melissa Holt of Grateful Lady, who, alongside her mother, also operates restaurants in Hampton and Norfolk.

Holt previously partnered with Chris Carnes to open Chicken Salad Chick in Chesapeake in late January 2025.

She stated: "It's incredibly rewarding to continue growing Chicken Salad Chick here in my home state of Virginia. I'm so excited to open my second restaurant with the brand and bring the Chicken Salad Chick experience to new and returning guests in the area. I love being able to share the brand's mission while serving up the best chicken salad around!"

The new location will support FISH, a non-profit aiding local residents in need, through pre-opening Friends and Family events.

Chicken Salad Chick has recently expanded its dessert menu with a new Red Velvet cake, now available at all locations.
