New York City-based restaurant chain DIG has announced its latest menu addition – the DIG Dinner Box.

Intended to cater to four people, the DIG Dinner Box is claimed to offer fresh dishes at an affordable price point that is expected to satisfy all appetites.

The box features nine trays comprising two bases, two proteins and five market sides.

Commencing at $48, the DIG Dinner Box offers meals to serve the varied requirements and lifestyles of the brand’s guests.

The brand’s complete menu is available so that guests can build their own box. The menu with popular dishes includes charred chicken, sheet tray carrots, maple-glazed crispy tofu and Jasper Hill mac and cheese.

Besides building their own box, guests have the option to go for a chef-curated picnic box.

DIG CEO Tracy Kim said: "At DIG, our team understands the challenges when it comes to weeknight dinners, whether that be accessibility, time constraints or affordability.

"With the DIG Dinner Box, we aim to alleviate the stress and time-consuming aspects of meal preparation, by providing a sustainable, fresh and affordable alternative to takeout or dine-in."

With the launch of the dinner box, DIG stated that it is committed to innovation and customer-centricity, and intends to improve the quality of life for individuals and families by allowing them to enjoy flavour or nutrition.

During this complete month, DIG is hosting pop-up picnics and holding engaging activations at select locations.

The DIG Dinner Box is available at all DIG locations through pickup, delivery and in-store. It can be ordered after 2pm local time.

In April 2022, the fast-casual chain, with over 30 restaurants, promoted its COO Tracy Kim as the CEO. Kim replaced founder Adam Eskin, who assumed the role of executive chairman, reported RestaurantBusinessOnline.com.
