US fast-casual franchise concept Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has unveiled its latest menu addition, the BBQ Brisket Steakburger, accompanied by the return of the Key Lime Pie Concrete dessert.

These seasonal offerings will be available at participating locations nationwide, with the steakburger on the menu from 30 April through 26 August, and the dessert until 8 July.

Customers can enjoy these items through various service options, including drive-through, in-restaurant dining, and delivery via the Freddy's mobile app or website.

The new BBQ Brisket Steakburger will feature 16-hour pit-smoked brisket layered on top of two Freddy's premium steakburger patties.

It is complemented by American cheese, pickles, and onions, all served on a King's Hawaiian bun with a smattering of smoky BBQ sauce.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers CMO Erin Walter said: "Freddy's newest BBQ Brisket Steakburger is a delicious combination of bold, smoky flavours with tender, pit-smoked brisket layered on top of our signature steakburger patties. Each bite delivers a perfectly savoury taste with a hint of sweetness from the BBQ sauce and soft and pillowy King's Hawaiian bun."

The Key Lime Pie Concrete blends Freddy's vanilla frozen custard with a slice of Key Lime Pie, topped off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon streusel.

Walter added: "Our Key Lime Pie Concrete has a perfect balance of cool and tangy, making it an unforgettable treat that many of our guests call their favourite limited-time offer."

Founded in Kansas in 2002, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has more than 550 locations across 36 states in the US.

The brand offers a unique combination of cooked-to-order steakburgers, beef hot dogs, fries and other items, along with freshly churned frozen custard treats.

Last month, Freddy's expanded its menu with new items and reintroduced some previous favourites.
